Evaluating AI searches and results

AI research assistants can save you considerable time in your search for academic sources but require extra layers of evaluation. This hour-long workshop will introduce participants to two AI-powered research tools, Scite.ai and Scopus AI, and the benefits and drawbacks they can bring to your literature search. By the end of this workshop you should be able to

  • Follow best practices when using AI assistants to locate academic sources
  • Evaluate the quality of AI-generated search results using AI and traditional library databases
