DH Open Office Hours - DH in the Dissertation

In this session, graduate students in the English and History departments will facilitate a discussion on incorporating the digital humanities into dissertations. Abbie Levesque is integrating coding and digital work into a traditional dissertation; Molly Nebiolo is working on a traditional dissertation with a stand-alone digital component for her research; and Cara Marta Messina is working on a completely digital dissertation. Join us to hear more about their dissertations strategies and to talk about ways that DH and the dissertation can co-exist.

DH Open Office Hours are a great way for beginning and experienced researchers to share knowledge about how to use different tools or to turn an idea into a solid project. We'll also share current and completed projects, as well as our experiences with many different facets of the DH world. There will also be informal talk sessions with visiting digital scholars. This is a great opportunity to meet other students and faculty who are interested in DH and see what they're up to.

DH Open Office Hours are held every Wednesday from 12:15—1 p.m., hosted by the Digital Scholarship Group.
