Suffrage Transcribe-a-thon with the National Parks of Boston

 

To commemorate the centennial of the passage of the 19th Amendment, we are excited to announce a Transcribe-a-thon of the Library of Congress’s Collection hosted by the National Parks of Boston and DH Hub with the Digital Scholarship Group and NULab for Texts, Maps, and Networks. 

Please join us on Tuesday, January 28th from 12-2pm in 422 Snell Library at Northeastern University (360 Huntington Ave).        RSVP by January 24th.   

A light lunch of pizza, assorted snacks,and beverages will be served. If you have any dietary restrictions, please notify us at bos.dh.hub@gmail.com.

The National Parks of Boston is dedicated to sharing undertold and underrepresented histories of Boston. In researching the suffrage movement, NPB continues to expand Boston's narrative to recognize the significant contributions of women and people of color.

DH Hub is a collaborative community of graduate students, recent graduates and early career researchers doing DH work in Greater Boston, supported by the Digital Scholarship Group and NULab for Texts, Maps, and Networks at Northeastern University.
