DH Open Office Hours - Boston Research Center Update

The Boston Research Center (BRC), based in the Northeastern University Library, is a digital community history and archives lab. The BRC seeks to bring Boston’s deep neighborhood and community histories to light through the creation and use of new technology. Join us to hear about our recent work with community organizations to build neighborhood history research projects, initial data analysis on topics like public art and natural language processing for community newspapers, and plans for a participatory software design process.

DH Open Office Hours are a great way for beginning and experienced researchers to share knowledge about how to use different tools, or to turn an idea into a solid project. We’ll also share current and completed projects, as well as our experiences with many different facets of the DH world. There will also be informal talk sessions with visiting digital scholars. This is a great opportunity to meet other students and faculty who are interested in DH and see what they’re up to.

DH Open Office Hours are held every Wednesday from 12:00 - 1:00 PM, hosted by the Digital Scholarship Group.
