Frederick Douglass Transcribe-a-thon

Please join us for a transcribe-a-thon in celebration of Frederick Douglass! The NULab for Texts, Maps, and Networks, in partnership with the Women Writers Project and the Digital Scholarship Group, will be hosting this event in the Digital Scholarship Commons at Snell Library. Pizza and treats will be served!

Participants should bring their own laptops, if possible, but no previous experience is required. This event is free and open to the public.

This event connects with the national Douglass Day, an annual celebration organized, in part, by The Colored Conventions Project, with local events happening across the country on February 14. More information about this year’s national Douglass Day can be found here: http://coloredconventions.org/hbd.
