GIS Day

Join the Digital Scholarship Group (Northeastern University Libraries), the NULab Center for Texts, Maps and Networks (College of Social Sciences and Humanities), and the Northeastern University Visualization Consortium for GIS Day! It will be in Room 102 in West Village G on November 15 from 3 PM to 5:30 PM.

GIS Day will feature two talks given by Nil Tuzcu, UI/UX and Data Visualization Designer at the Harvard Kennedy School, Center of International Development, and Arzu Çöltekin, Research Group Leader and Senior Lecturer at the Geographic Information Visualization and Analysis Group at the University of Zurich (Switzerland). Attendees will learn about spatial storytelling, cartographic principles, and modern visualization practices.
