Creating a Sense of Belonging For Learners in Their Experiences

Students’ sense of belonging is key to their well-being and academic success. How can we help ensure that all learners feel respected, valued, and included? How do we create learning environments in which all learners feel that they matter? Reflecting on our own experiences–as learners and educators–what contributes to our ability to think, feel, and act like we belong? Join in this inaugural Community Conversation to learn and share ways to understand and foster a sense of belonging. Lunch will be provided.

For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the “Diversity & Inclusion” requirement.
