DH Open Office Hours: Mapping Residents of Historic Boston

Molly Nebiolo, Ph.D. student in the Department of History, will present a project mapping historic Boston in 1676 and visualizing information about each resident that lived in the North End at that time. She will share her process for digitizing a map from the Massachusetts Historical Society and the online Thwing Archive, combining the two to create an interactive presentation of life in the historic North End.
