Fusion Book Club

Fusion Book Club: where STEM meets story and belonging takes root.

Whether you're passionate about engineering, curious about untold stories in science, or simply seeking a community that celebrates belonging in STEM, there’s a place for you in the Fusion book club. Join us monthly in engaging discussions of fiction and non-fiction books that highlight diverse voices in STEM. We aim to provide a supportive environment where all are welcome.

Where: Snell Library Research and Teaching Hub (SL-215) and online (Teams meeting link)

Book for this month: "Lab Girl" by Hope Jahren.

For Geobiologist Hope Jahren has spent her life studying trees, flowers, seeds, and soil. Lab Girl is her revelatory treatise on plant life--but it is also a celebration of the lifelong curiosity, humility, and passion that drive every scientist.

If NU's copies are checked out, there may be copies available from your local public library, the Boston Public Library or the Minuteman Library Network. Learn more about borrowing from the Boston Public Library.
