Wikipedia Edit-a-thon: Closing the Gaps on Wikipedia
Take a break from studying for finals and join the Digital Scholarship Group for a Wikipedia Edit-a-thon focused on expanding underrepresented areas in Boston's history. We'll concentrate on topics like the history of one of Boston's major LGBTQ newspapers and activists for civil rights and education in Boston. Learn the basics of editing Wikipedia pages and how to add reliable information to the encyclopedia. Laptops are needed for participation. Pizza will be provided. New contributors welcome!
